Why we started Workee?
In 2020, the mom of our CEO, Ihor lost her job as a therapist because the private clinic she worked in, was not able to operate at the start of the pandemic. After a lot of discussion with his mom and trying to educate her on how to use her on how to use video calls, booking, scheduling, payments, client management system, accounting, and how to create a personal website, Ihor realised: there is no simple tool that helps freelancers to work with clients that they already have, grow their business and autopilot business routine in one place.
Over 400 million people lost their jobs due to the pandemic in 2020 leading to a $3.7 trillion loss in labor income because working online isn't that simple.

Right now, Workee is focused on individual freelancers. Our next step will be launching Workee for small and medium businesses and scaling globally.

Over 15 years of experience in Product design, UX/UI development. Worked for multiple design agencies, software development and products. Master of Science degree in Mining Engineering.

Full-stack developer with 8+ years of experience. Founder of his previous startup – AI-based app for choosing cooking recipes. Bachelor’s Degree in Economic Cybernetics.
